There are 2 En-suite, 1 separate bathroom and 2 independent toilets. The kitchen opens onto a fabulous and comfortable living/dining area of nearly 70m2 overlooking the sea. The French windows lead outside onto the large wooden terrace with dining furniture, a BBQ and a Plancha – perfect for alfresco dining on warm evenings! You can also enjoy the amazing sea views and l'Ile aux Oiseaux from the terrace while you sip a cocktail by the jacuzzi and the children play safely in the large enclosed garden! The villa is only 100m from the secluded safe beaches of the Bassin - a pathway only a few metres from the gates leads onto the nearest beach. The wilder and beautiful beaches of the ocean coast are only 5 minutes by car and can also be reached very easily by bikes thanks to a huge network of cycle paths. Local shops and amenities are within walking distance.

Summary: Beautifully decorated house with magnificent views over the Bassin d'Arcachon, even better than in the photos! We spent an amazing 2 weeks holiday in this villa very well equipped and comfortable for a large family or group of people. The children love the jacuzzi and the table tennis table. Without any doubt a fantastic holiday location. And last but not least, the owners were incredibly helpful from booking the rental up till our arrival and during our stay. We hope to stay again in the near future!

Summary: House and grounds all very clean and well maintained with modern facilities and fresh towels and linen. Owners took special care to see us properly settled in with all that we needed. Loads to do, walking, cycling, sea-siding (on the Arcachon promenade and the wild Atlantic Coast) with great views out from the house. Good shopping, food and wine within easy reach, we would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Summary: We had a fantastic stay at this property. It is very clean and well maintained with beautiful furniture not normally seen in rental properties. The view from the deck is amazing overlooking the sea. We only used the car once to go to the supermarket and the rest of the time used bikes. we cycled to the Atlantic side for some of the best beaches anywhere in France and then walked to the local beach. we had some great evenings walking down to the local oyster huts and would drink white wine and eat oysters overlooking the bay. The table tennis and jacuzzi were a hit with the kids. I would certainly recommend this property to anyone and will revisit in the future.

Summary: This is a great holiday house - equipped like the family home it is, loads of space, ping pong, petanque, beaches. Owners couldn't have been more helpful - even collecting my mother from the bus stop on her arrival. Situated on a very quiet street - no mean feat in high season! We particularly loved the oyster bars on the bassin just 2 minutes walk from the villa. We could eat oysters and drink cold white wine whilst the kids played at the house. One word of warning - the Cap Ferret peninsula is spectacularly busy in August so bicycling around with kids wasn't really an option as there was too much traffic. Out of season I'm sure it is fine & the house has lots of bikes.

Summary: We had high expectations of the villa, and the area, before we arrived, and these were more than met. We were met by the owner, who apologized for her English (which was practically perfect) and shown around the villa which has that rare quality in a holiday house of feeling like a home. The beds were very comfortable and there is plenty of hanging space, and the exceptional living room with its comfy sofas and feeling of light and space, taking advantage of the magnificent views over the basin, meant everyone could find somewhere comfortable to sit out the rain without feeling on top of each other, including the three dogs. We loved walking the dogs along the beach to Grand Piquey and to the forest nearby, and it is about a 10 minute drive to the Atlantic coast with the most incredible beach and rolling surf. We ate out at a few of the restaurants in Cap Ferret, L'Escale probably being our favourite, but the best evenings were spent around the large dining table. There are great cycle tracks all over the Cap and it was great to explore the various villages that make up the presqu'il. We looked at various villas as we travelled around the Cap but couldn't find any to match this one.

Summary: this is the most perfect property for either a get together with friends or family, or a spacious family holiday. The house has all your needs catered for along with several extras such as the jacuzzi ! We spent a glorious week with great friends and could not find fault with anything.the living area in the house lends itself to great dinner parties! The beds are extremely comfortable which is a "must".The kitchen is very well equipped as well as sociable as it is open plan.As for the outside space, you have the decking surrounding the property and plenty of seating for a large group, there is also a BBQ supplied for those balmy evenings. The location is ideal as you are so close to the sea and the view from the decking over looking the small beach,which is less than a 5 minute walk, are an artists dream! The only negative point we found was our week went to quickly. However this means we will have to return to repeat our experience! Hopefully next year!! Many thanks!
